RECEIVING FREIGHT

The information for all material/freight received on behalf of our customers is entered into our automated system, and is issued a warehouse entry number (which consists of the date when the shipment arrived as well as a warehouse control number).

0424 = Control No.

• Shipper (vendor)
• Description of material
• Number of packages

The control tags are affixed to the actual freight (i.e. boxes, cartons, pallets, etc.) as well as all supporting documentation (packing slips, freight bills, etc.), and enables us to track and immediately identify your material and its warehouse location.

INVENTORY CONTROL

At the end of each business day, our computer system will automatically generate and fax a detailed Inventory Control Report to you (please see attached). This report will summarize all materials received throughout the day, as well as list any material remaining in our warehouse pending withdrawal. Information on pending material will remain on the control report until the entire lot has been withdrawn. Please be advised that in addition to the control report, we can also provide copies of packing-lists which accompany the freight.

WAREHOUSE WITHDRAWALS

Material withdrawn from our warehouse is issued a Warehouse Withdrawal Form (copy attached). This form summarizes what material has been removed from each lot, and must be signed by the driver who receives the freight. This form enables our office to maintain strict control on what material is authorized for release.

URGENT SHIPMENTS

Whenever we receive time sensitive material on behalf of our clients (via Emery, UPS Red, or Federal Express for example), we are prepared to expedite the release of your material ASAP, as we consider ourselves part of your production line and are committed to helping you achieve your goals. When freight of this kind is received, you will be notified immediately, and the freight will be processed per your instructions.
